Step 1. Dewatering
Be certain that one Dewatering Bag has been inserted into each Perforated Basket, and that each bag overlaps the top of the basket (see photo #1), and that the draw-string of the bag is tied securely. Swith on the Auger, and slowly open one of the Auger Ball Vales while supporting the Flat Filler Hose.

Fill each Bag / Basket to NO Higher than the Level Line seen on the front of each tank. If the water level is allowed to raise above this mark, it WILL fill the Fan Housing and cause the Fan to electrically short out.

While allowing the level to drop in each basket, continue to auger and fill each basket until the sediment turns clear. One the sediment has been flushed from the Large Mixing Tank, close both auger valves, and turn off the auger. Next, place both Covers over the top of the Dewatering Baskets.

Note: The Fan which is located between the Dewatering Tanks is running continuously, and never shuts off. This fan ensures that an adequate airflow around the dewatering baskets is maintained.

Note: The smaller Dewatering Tank(s) Value must be open, while the Mixing Tank remains closed during the dewater process (see photo #3). Once the dewater tank(s) have completely drained, the smaller valve can be closed, and the mixer tank value can be opened to drain the filtrate water to the city. The Dewatering process may take several days before the dewatering Bags and Debis can be removed.

Step 2. Mixing Polymer and Sediment Water
While filling the mixing tank to the level marked below the Inlet Port, add 2 each pre-measured bag of Clay-Polymer. Note: The Logic Timer is pre-programmed and will start its sequential mixing cycles at a set "time and day" each week. These settings can be changed at any time to facilitate proper plant operations, or to increase or decrease mixing cycles.

You will need to allow adequete time after Polymer Mixing is complete, to be certain that the Flocking in the Mixer Tank has completely settled, before Step #1, Dewatering, can begin.
